Questions

Do I need to download an app?

No. The route runs in your phone browser (Safari or Chrome). The browser asks once for location access, and you need to allow it.

How does it know I am there?

While the game page is open, the phone checks GPS every few seconds. When you are near a place, the task opens by itself. If it does not, tap “I am here”.

When can I go?

Any day, any time. All places are outdoors, so museum hours do not matter. If you also want to go inside the “Soviet Years” exhibition, it is open Wednesday to Sunday, 11:00–17:00.

Can I go with kids and a pram?

Yes. Most of the way follows pavements and parks. The “Daugava Trails” path has wooden stairs, so with a pram take the street above.

Can I cycle it?

Yes. The finish on Kalna iela is on the western edge of town, so the route is easier by bike. Follow traffic rules.

Is my progress saved?

Yes. You do not have to finish in one go. Open the game page again on the same phone and carry on.

The Daugava is waiting. Go explore!
