Participants type “Rigaa”, “Freedom Monument by Milda” or a short poem about your event. AI understands what they meant and awards points at once, while you see every decision and can change it.
How does AI checking work?
In a text checkpoint turn on “Check with AI” and, if needed, add your own rules, for example “the surname is enough” or “the poem needs at least 4 lines and the word ghosts”. If an answer exactly matches a correct one, AI is not used at all.
AI can also check photo tasks and photo bonuses: it compares the picture with the task and your rules. Photos with forbidden content are not accepted and not shown in the gallery or on screen.
AI accepts the answer, rejects it or, if unsure, leaves it for you under Review. Each decision shows a short reason. Rude or offensive answers are never accepted in any event.
It is an extra paid service: you pay only for checks made, with an invoice for the previous day the next day. Each organiser’s first checks are free. The price is shown on the Pricing page and in the checkpoint settings.

What AI accepts
- “rigaa” or “Riga” when the correct answer is “Rīga”
- “Milda” or “Freedom Monument” when both mean the same thing
- “Rainis” or “Jānis Pliekšāns” when your rules say the real name counts
- a rhyming four-line poem with the required words in any form
- a description that includes everything the task asked for
- a photo task showing the whole team at the named landmark
Frequently asked questions
How much does AI checking cost?
You pay per check made, and the first checks are free. Exact matches are not sent to AI, so they cost nothing. The current price is on atklaj.lv/pages/abonementi.php.
What if AI gets it wrong?
Open the “Checked by AI” tab under Review and change the decision. Points and results update at once.
Can AI be turned on for some checkpoints only?
Yes. AI is switched on per text checkpoint, and the rest are checked as before.
Is participant data used to train AI?
No. AI receives only the question, the rules and the answer, without the participant’s name, and we use a paid service that does not train on the data. See the privacy policy.
